11 Mantarah;
Palestine
The word mantarah means in Arab language 'watch
tower'. It is real tower: truncated cone, with circular
grounplan, inner staircase to the top, where are stone plates
for drying the fruit, and for watching the flocks (and enemies
too).
Mantarah can be found mostly in all Palestinian territories,
mostly South of Beit Sahour and Bethlehem.
